The Danielson Framework, developed by Charlotte Danielson, addresses multi- faceted teaching responsibilities within four distinct domains. The four domains of the Danielson Framework consist of various standards that are designed and organized by planning and preparation, the classroom environment, instruction, and professional responsibilities. The purpose of this framework is to demonstrate teaching skills that may be expected and/ or necessary for educators of varying subjects.

As a dance educator, I strive to align my teaching with the four domains of the Danielson Framework, consistently seeking to better myself professionally while discovering the most effective teaching approaches for my students. The four boxes below display my alignment to the Danielson Framework in each domain through artifacts from my teaching experiences.
